Over the past few years AUGUST has grown from a small resort wear line to a casual lifestyle brand with a passionate following.

Since its inception in 2009, AUGUST has been one of the most sought after resort influenced labels catering to the fashion minded, modern woman. AUGUST’s designs are constantly inspired by both the resort and casual sides of the South African lifestyle. Originally known for its signature tunics, AUGUST has grown as a complete collection of ready to wear garments.

Our AUGUST artisan collection features beautiful, limited edition pieces that have been handmade by craftswomen, using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
This hand-crafted production brings a unique quality to our collections, while helping to sustain age old crafts like hand-embroidery and embellishment.
AUGUST was launched in Cape Town in 2009 and Pippa Henderson took over the business in 2021.
